I. Project Overview

This project is undertaken by Nanke Electric, serving Lu Pai Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. Established in Wenzhou, Zhejiang in 2008, the company is a professional manufacturer of high- and low-voltage electrical equipment, integrating R&D, production, and sales, with core products including American-style pad-mounted transformers and packaged substations.

To meet the customer’s needs for large-scale production quality inspection, this project has fully deployed an automated distribution transformer testing system on-site, conducting specialized tests and inspections on the customer’s transformer products. Leveraging automated control and high-precision data acquisition technologies, the system completes verification of multiple critical performance parameters, comprehensively ensuring equipment quality and operational stability.

II. Maximum Testing Capabilities

The newly commissioned automated distribution transformer testing system offers broad testing coverage, capable of meeting batch testing requirements for transformers of various specifications:

Capacity: Maximum test capacity of 3150 kVA;

Voltage levels: 10kV, 35/0.4kV, 0.54kV, 0.69kV, 0.8kV, 1.14kV

Impedance range: 4.0%–8.0%

III. Test Items

With the automated distribution transformer testing system, standardized tests can be performed on-site, specifically as follows:

(1) Measurement of no-load loss and no-load current

(2) Calculation of no-load current percentage

(3) Measurement of load loss and conversion to standard temperature

(4) Measurement of short-circuit impedance and conversion to standard temperature

(5) Induced voltage withstand test

(6) Power-frequency withstand test

IV. Project Highlights

(1) Empowered by an intelligent testing system: The automated distribution transformer testing system integrates data acquisition, real-time display, automatic calculation, and other functions, offering convenient operation and precise, traceable test data.

(2) Comprehensive testing coverage: It can perform full-dimensional tests covering loss, current, impedance, and withstand voltage, with standardized procedures that comply with industry regulations.

(3) Strong equipment adaptability: With wide-ranging capacity, voltage, and impedance coverage, the testing equipment can accommodate multiple types of pad-mounted transformers and other transformer products, demonstrating outstanding versatility.

(4) Efficient on-site implementation: The deployment on-site is standardized, with stable coordinated operation of software and hardware, enabling timely completion of all testing tasks and smooth commissioning, delivering results that meet quality standards.
